Poetry In Your Life

Have you ever thought about how poetry is in your life? I mean, when you start writing poetry, and you enjoy it.....confusing things in life become more obvious. Like when looking at a piece of abstract art. Before becoming a poet, you would think to yourself, "What is that supposed to be?" But after becoming a poet, it would seem obvious. "Oh it's an enormous flower with faces in the petals. That happens because poetry is deep and thoughtful, just like confusing things are, like some art, music, or even a pattern!

Style

A poet should always have their own style...
     melancholy , happy, deep, amusing,
all of those. Now, every poets style is different from anyone else. Every one poet has their own unique way to string words together to create one type of feeling. For instance, Edgar Allen Poe mostly wrote about murder, prisoners and his own sorrow. Shel Silverstien was deep, thoutful, and occasionally funny. But poets cannot tell their own style. It is impossible for a poet to know what kind of effect it makes on the reader. Basically, it is the overall average thoughts of  all the readers that read your poem. That is what I call style, in poetry words.
