One Chance

i had one chance
when love turned my way
but i got too scared
and i chased it away
and i thought it was right

but then
i took a double take
i realized my mistake
that i thought i couldn't make
and i regret it more than ever

i missed my one chance
that may never come again
because it boarded a one way train
for i was too vain
and i will never cope with my choice

but i will deal
and i will live for tomorrow
try to forget my sorrow
get a new heart to borrow
and chase that one chance back to me
