This came to me in the middle of a spelling test today, and my entire class was acting up because we had a substitute. I was trying to concentrate on my words, rather than to listen about girls' romantic thoughts about their beau, so I thought about a poem, and soon enough, I couldn't hear a sound, but everyone's mouths were flapping.
Today the class is extremely loud
I can' t hear my thoughts above the crowd
The spelling test is now history
To them, and her, and him, and me
Goodbye, the chance of a perfect score
I may have another chance, in a week
.........or more
and now for the big question.....drum roll please.........
